Under våren kommer EU fatta beslut om ett flertal ifrågasatta fiskeriavtal med länder i Afrika. Det mest aktuella avtalet är med Marocko, där EUs ministerråd väntas fatta beslut nu på måndag. Vi har just haft överläggningar i miljö- och jordbruksutskottet med landsbygdsminister Eskil Erlandsson. Han lovade där att Sverige kommer att rösta emot ett förlängt fiskeavtal med Marocko. Bra! Äntligen en fråga där regeringen tagit till sig av de påtryckningar som kommit från oss i oppositionen och från annat håll. Läs t ex den utmärkta debattartikeln på DN-debatt idag.
Det är bra att Sverige kommer att rösta nej. Men nejet måste användas för att övertyga andra länder i ministerrådet så att man kan få en blockerande minoritet som sätter stopp för avtalet med Marocko. Har svenska regeringen varit i kontakt med sina motsvarigheter i t ex Danmark, Finland, Storbritannien och andra länder som kan vara benägna att rösta mot Marockoavtalet?
Idag har jag en interpellationsdebatt med landsbygdsminister Eskil Erlandsson om just avtalet med Marocko samt om de andra fiskeriavtalen som kommer att omförhandlas nu i år. År 2004 krävde EUs ministerråd att det ska göras ekonomiska och sociala utvärderingar inför antagandet av avtalen. Sådana analyser har gjorts, men har hemligstämplats av EU-kommissionen. Inte ens den svenska regeringen har fått ta del av dessa. Det är ju skandal. Hur kommer den svenska regeringen agera angående de andra fiskeriavtalen? Kommer man låta europeiska flottor få fortsätta att fiska ut vattnen utanför de fattiga ländernas kuster. Hoppas på ett besked i dagens interpellationsdebatt.
Förresten, angående DN-debatt idag. Jag saknar en undertecknare. Var är EU-parlamentarikern Anna Maria Corazza Bildt (M)? Hon är utrikesminister Carl Bildts fru. Är det skälet till att hon inte skriver under artikeln?

The ”Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic” exists only in the Internet. It is not recognized by many countries and many countries have withdrawn their recognition of the Republic.
